Cheap Halloween Costumes

I have a black v-neck dress that’s knee length and a little pouffy at the bottom that i plan to wear along with some black wings. what else can i do to pull the costume together? and what, if any, accent colors would work?

you can be holding a black rose that they sell at halloween stores.
red lipstick.
black cross necklace.
do the smokey eye look with your dark eyeshadow.
if you want to add a little something to your hair wear a black head band.
black lacie wrist high gloves that they might still sell at forever 21.

My best friend and I are going trick or treating together and we decided to be nerds. We aren’t completely sure what to look for at the costume stores…We have the main outfit in mind, but we want some extra stuff to make it different. Any ideas?

haha i luv the idea! heres some tips:
high-waisted shorts/skort, with collared shirt tucked in. maybe some suspenders or a sweatervest, a fanny pack stuffed with school supplies (erasers, pencils etc), big glasses (never use ones that arent ur perscription, so buy some fake ones), duct tape arond the center of the eyeglasses (nose-piece), messy & frizzy hair with random ponytails, unmatching knee length socks with sneakers, KICK ME sign on ur back, bowtie, calculator in hand.

I’ll be Jospehine the Vampress. Its a long red and white dress, kind of 1800′s ish. I brought a red goth-looking necklace to go with it. I’ll be wearing a red lipstick, umm what else should I go with it?? I’ll be going to a bar with my boyfriend that night in our costumes..

A nice pair of Victorian boots, stockings, and a decorative hair pin/comb/ clip. Wear your hair half/all up to give it that "1800′s" look. Glitter in the hair always looks nice under low lighting.;)

all i have is a dress, which has a white blouse with puffy sleeves a brown vest and a black and red skirt.
oh, i also have black boots that come to right under my knee.
the dress hits middle thigh. please help me, Halloween is on Saturday and i have no clue what to do.

Make them yourself?.. By plan white or silver flats, get pink sprinkles, and then get some super sticky glue (clear) and put it all around the shoes and put the sparkles on. I know it sounds cheapy, but it’s just for a costume party?.. I’m pretty sure you’ll foget where they are at the end of the night. I always take crappy shoes to those things because im always running around, or take them off.

I have a dress already, now I just need to finish it off. Any ideas would be great. I have long dark hair so no wig is needed

What kind of shoes?
What color/kind of tights?

hmm…
for makeup, you definitely need eyeliner. you can do smokey eyes if you’d like. for your lips, you can wear dark brown lipstick. but if u don’t want lipstick, no color would also work fine. dust your whole face with white powder and/or wear very light foundation…the idea is to get your face to look really pale.

as for the shoes, you can do the school girl black flats with the strap fastener. you can also do black heels with the strap fastener if you feel like going for the adult wednesday look.

for your tights, you can wear black pantyhose (sheer or opaque, though i think sheer would look better). and, again, if you’re going for the sexy adult wednesday look, you can also do black thigh highs (if you have a short dress). you can also do knee highs, as well.

for your accessories, the doll is a good idea. i don’t think i have any more ideas as far as accessories. maybe try looking for a fake plastic hand to put on your shoulder or something? and to top it all off, you gotta do that sinister look that wednesday is so familiar with.

Its only Temporary, and I need to get it from Claires, Does anyone know prices?

oh gosh do not shop there because every time i buy something it tears or rips or falls apart and its not nice. so if you please just buy it somewhere else for the sake of our money!
