I’m going to a costume party later this summer. I don’t know what to go as and was just wondering if anyone had some ideas. I want something interesting and different, but not over-the-top (like going as left-overs by wrapping foil around myself).

Nothing slutty because I don’t have the boobs to pull it off and no animals (the last thing the party needs is another bunny or kitty)!

How about a prom queen, but a retro one from 1975 or something. You can make a custom made sash that says, "Prom Queen 1975." Just buy a dress off ebay!

I have 10 month old twins and a two year old, what are some twin costume ideas I could do? I want some easy ideas.

I also have twins that are 10 months old. I read an article with some ideas that were cute. We’re doing Salt and Pepper shakers.

I just recently bought a fairly expensive camera, and don’t have any money left to spend on a costume. I’m planing on going trick or treating and to a party like thing, and I definitely want to bring the camera to the party. And since it is a pretty bulky camera, I’m probably going to need to have it as part of my costume, otherwise it would look weird. Just going as a plain old photographer isn’t too exciting, but I can’t think of anything else. Any ideas?

You got a couple of great ideas from posters so far! If you’re a paparazzi, you can make up on a black eye and just dress casual. Whatever you dress as, don’t worry too much about the camera, in a way, it’s better if it’s obvious — you’re likely to get people asking you to take their photos on Halloween. And if you’re taking your camera to use it, that’s what you want.

You can always put the camera strap over your shoulder instead of around your neck, it’s a little less obvious that way, much of the time your arm/hand will cover the camera. Unless you’re used to carrying around a camera bag or purse, don’t, or there’s a good chance you’re going to set it down and forget it.

If you wear a dark shirt, the camera will be less noticeable, if it’s the typical black.

Try some photos without flash, you can get some cool artsy stuff in the eve with existing light (and some awful stuff too, lol).

What are some good ideas for a halloween costume 2007. I am a teen boy, in highschool, about 6 feet tall. I want someone clever. Not something that has been done before. I dont know, maybe something to do with a movie/tv show that has come out lately. I take group ideas too. PLEASE HELP!

Ok so theres a costume party coming up… and i wanna step away from the s**t costumes nothing to show off something creative.. any ideas ?

I’ve always wanted to go to a costume party dressed as Frida Kahlo, the Mexican artist known for her colorful peasant-style outfits, long skirts, flowers in her piled-up hair, bird or monkey on her shoulder, plus her eyebrows painted to look like a bird… google her paintings and you’ll see what I’m talking about… used to be no one knew her but then there was this big movie on her a few years ago…
