Whats your favorite halloween costume from when you were growing up??

There were no costumes when I was a boy, you had to make do with one of your mothers old dresses or something similar and a burnt cork to blacken your face. A touch of your mother’s lipstick put the finishing touches. However, there were other things:

Halloween Barmbrack.

At Halloween we had Barmbrack,
The memory, it takes me back,
To happy days of innocence,
When a bag of sweets cost just two pence.

The dressing up, from door to door,
‘Apples or nuts’ the children implore,
With faces black from cold burnt ash,
Still there next day, after a wash.

The Barmbrack was a special treat,
It looked too good to dare to eat,
The prizes cooked deep within,
The thought it made my young head spin.

A small brass ring that shone like gold,
The secret that its finding told,
That you would be the first to wed,
If you clung to it all night in bed.

A matchstick meant you would see the light,
That you would know wrong from right,
But best was last, a thruppenny bit,
That you’d be rich, if you found it.

Such silly things, to a small boy,
Used to bring unending joy,
Now all that’s left is the memory,
Of the beautiful times that used to be.

so were in high school and their are groups and we need costume ideas. so does anyone have any unique or interesting costume ideas? in my group including me there are 3 girls and 1 boy
any ideas?

The scooby gang would be cute, but a girl would have to be either fred, shaggy or scooby.
You could go as some of the Sailor Moon characters, there are plenty of girls to choose from and a few guys.

What about a pair of socks and a pair of shoes? A litter of puppies or kittens. Or office supplies. A pen, pencil, an eraser and a piece of paper or a stapler. How about a four pack of batteries.

You could go as Adam and Eve, Eva, and Evey; Depending on how brave your feeling.

You could each dress up as a quarter and go as a dollar.

Hmm…You could do role reversal type of thing and the three girls go as Ed, Edd and Eddy from the cartoon show and the guy goes as the blonde girl whose name escapes me at the moment.

Or you could go as different stages of something. Say a fly. One person goes as the egg, then the larvea, then the fly, and the last can go as a squished fly wearing a flyswatter.

My boyfriend and I are looking for an idea of a funny/cute couple costume idea thats not sooper dorky (like star wars princess liea and luke skywalker) and not rlly sexual like the plug and socket thing haha. If you have any ideas please let me know thank you

My husband and i are thinking about being joe dirt and brandy or the couple for meet the spartans

I need an idea with in a couple hours! Help! I want to buy one ASAP, but if there any other ideas i could buy stuff to make it able to make that costume. Thanks!
